In 2005, Cheryl and I bought 16 acres of cutover land with a house on a small lake. Within a year and a half most of the 16 acres was turned into pastures. Fences were built as well as a barn thus Chapel Creek Farm was born. We bought our first four goats in 2006 and have loved raising goats ever since. In the last 4 years we have raised as many as 55 goats on our farm at one time with one idea. To give the best care possible, povide the best nutrition we can to provide quality animals for meat, breeding or for pets. Growing from a small herd to a large herd has been hard work and a rewarding learning experience that never ends. We hope you will get to know us!
Chapel Creek Farm is located in Central Virginia about 55 minutes northeast of Richmond in King and Queen County. The farm is off of Route 721, Newtown Road 8 miles from Highway 360 between Mechanicsville, Va and Tappahannock Va. Visitors are welcome by appointment. Cheryl and I have full time day jobs so calling ahead allows us to schedule our time to visit with you.
We could never have been so successful without help from our Community connections better known as "friends." I have added links to show appreciation. Please take a moment to visit those links.
Thanks again!
